Most of us have a hard time staying healthy when it comes to breakfast.
If you're in the mood for something fast and a little sweet that still packs a lot of protein, you're in luck! Today we bring you the Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana smoothie.
All you need is milk, peanut butter, dark chocolate powder (try it unsweetened!), bananas, yogurt, and ice.
This recipe can easily be dairy-free and gluten-free, if you desire: just add whatever milk alternative that you enjoy, grab some lactose-free yogurt, and be sure to get ingredients that are gluten-free (like the chocolate and peanut butter).
Chocolate has been shown to be heart healthy, and it's also shown to help relieve stress--maybe that's why we always crave chocolate when we're sad!
The mixture of milk (or your milk alternative, such as almond milk) and yogurt pack a mean protein punch, one that will help you stay full all day! The protein also helps even out the sugar from the bananas and chocolate, so you won't get that horrible sugar crash.
