One amazing tool you have at your disposal is the nutrition label. You can tell the ingredients, the fat, sodium, carb, sugar, and protein content--it's a transparency companies can't really get around.

But what about the foods in the produce section? How do you know how many calories you're eating or how many grams of sugar you might be adding to your breakfast oatmeal?
