For many women, one wish would be, "to be able to eat anything I wanted without gaining weight."
Seems impossible, though right?
Turns out, it might not be too far off, according to new research published in American Journal of Physiology—Heart and Circulatory Physiology. Researchers may have found a way for people to eat whatever they want without any side effects!
Sounds good too to be true?
It's not. The trick is to fit a super high-intensity workout in before you start eating--it's that simple.
In the study, 20 people attempted to try this before each meal and found that it worked like magic. By completing 20 minutes of incredibly hard exercise about an hour before eating, participants were able to eat whatever they desired without gaining weight.
Researchers found that their bodies were simply less affected by the fat in the sugary treats they ate after their workout (for up to three hours after!)--at least, that was the case compared to the people that completed 25 minutes of moderate exercise and consumed the same sugary treat.
So if you're getting a craving for a pizza or an ice cream sundae, get your butt moving for at least 20 minutes so you can indulge yourself!
What do you think about this? Would you try it out? Let us know in the comments!
