We all have imperfections that make us feel inadequate and insecure about the skin we’re in, but we rarely get to see how other people feel the exact same way.

For celebrity trainer and mom Heidi Powell’s latest segment of “Perfectly Imperfect” on YouTube, she invited fellow blogger mom Natalie Hodson to reveal some of her own surprising insecurities.

On the outside, Hodson is a beautiful mother of two with a body most of us only dream of having.

But underneath the makeup, cute outfits, and professional photos, she’s battling with her personal insecurities just like the rest of us.

In the video below, Natalie gives us a sneak peek into her beauty routine before and after heading out to church in the morning.

Though she looks naturally gorgeous after coming home from church, nobody outside her home was there to see her curl her hair and put on makeup for 40 minutes that morning.

On that same note, Hodson is no stranger to body compliments—and for good reason! I think it’s safe to say we would all kill for that six-pack!

But the moment she bends over, the mother of two 10-pound babies reminds us that she will never be able to get rid of the excess skin her stomach now has after giving birth.

She can’t change it, so why not embrace it? This is the message Natalie is sending to fellow women everywhere.

Somebody will always have a better body, a nicer home, or more well-behaved children—you can’t change that.

What you can change, however, is the way to see yourself every day. Give yourself small goals and rewards, and never tell yourself you’re not good enough!

Take a look at all of Natalie Hodson’s “Perfectly Imperfect” tips in the video below now!
