Are you sick and tired of that fat that pooches out from the bottom of your bra, or that muffin top that you get from your favorite skinny jeans?
Well, unfortunately, you already know that spot-cleaning certain areas of fat is a myth, but there are at least a few things you can do to get rid of it faster.
- Eat clean. Eating smart can help you burn fat even when you’re not exercising. Fruits and veggies fill you up for longer and give you the fuel to work off the fat.
- Focus on strength training. If you strengthen the muscles in your back and work on your posture, it will reveal the muscles below the back fat. Working your back, shoulder, and oblique muscles will all make your back look stronger!
- Get serious about cardio. Try interval training, or if you’re really serious, work 60 minutes of cardio into your day, five days a week. This will have you burning fat not just on your back, but everywhere.
- Find your zen. Yoga is a great way to work in strength training and cardio in a low-impact setting. It can also reduce stress, meaning you’re less likely to put on extra fat.

- Dress the body you have. If it’s your bra that’s worrying you, maybe it’s time to move up a band size. If you’ve got a muffin top, maybe it’s time to go up a pant size. It doesn’t have to be permanent, you can still lose weight. But in the meantime, you’ll feel much better about yourself if you’re wearing something flattering.
