In sunny California, the food game is always changing.

Here's the latest game changer: vegetarian, organic, locally sourced fast food.

And guess what? It’s blowing up! People love it! They served 500 people on their first day, and business just continues to grow for them!

Probably because everyone is so tired of the same exact fast food at every location, right?

Located in northern California, this brand new drive-thru was created by Andy and Rachel Berliner of Amy’s Kitchen, which you can already find in grocery stores around the nation. But now, they’ve created a drive-thru that serves high-quality vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free food at an affordable price.

Sound too good to be true? Well, it gets even better. The food isn’t just organic and vegetarian, it also tastes great!

Andy Berliner, one of the founders, said: “Our relationships with farmers and our knowledge of how to make delicious food on a large scale has really made this project possible. We’ve been able to keep the quality high and the prices reasonable.”

But what do “reasonable” prices really mean? How reasonable could organic fast food really be?

A single veggie burger is priced at $2.99 (compare this to $3.99 for a Burger King Whopper) and a bowl of mac and cheese is only $4.69.

Not bad, especially when you factor in the locally sourced veggies.

Everything on the menu is vegetarian, and all of it can be made vegan and gluten-free.

And no, that’s not all. Amy’s pays their employees living wages with benefits, and even has totally upcycled building materials and furniture.

Amazing, right? Hopefully they'll expand one day, but for now, you can find them in Rohnert Park, CA.

Would you eat at an organic drive-thru if there was one near you?
