Not everybody can rock a beauty mark quite like Cindy Crawford, and there’s nothing wrong with that.

A lot of people have moles in places they wish they didn’t, which is why we keep seeing so many turn toward invasive laser treatments for help.

But have you seen how expensive professional laser treatments cost? We don’t all have the luxury of being able to drop hundreds of dollars just to remove one mole.

Luckily, you don’t have to! There’s a far more natural, cost efficient way to remove moles right at home.

Tea tree oil—it works wonders on reducing the appearance of fungal infections, acne, cold sores, and more.

And, according to Style Craze, this powerful antiseptic oil can also help fade dark moles around the body.

Before you get started: Make sure your mole has been checked out by a dermatologist and isn’t indicative of a more serious problem, like skin cancer.

Here’s how to remove a mole with tea tree oil:

  1. Gently pour a couple of drops of tea tree oil onto a clean cotton swab.
  2. Keep the swab pressed onto the mole for a few minutes.
  3. Do NOT wash the oil off when you’re done!
  4. Repeat up to three times a day.
  5. If your skin starts to feel irritated, cut back on how often you use tea tree oil.

Eventually, the mole should fade or fall off on its own entirely, but this method doesn’t work for everyone.

While using tea tree oil, you should also load up on sunscreen every time you step outside to reduce the chance of skin irritation!
