Jordan, a 21-year-old man from Australia, has gone to the hospital twice in the past five months.
The reason? He’d been bitten a redback spider, for the second time, in five months.
Unfortunately, the second spider had chosen to bit Jordan in the same spot as the first spider had: his penis.
Jordan’s assessment of himself right now isn’t too great: “I’m the most unlucky guy in the country at the moment.”
Apparently, he was just sitting on the toilet, minding his own business, when he “just felt the sting that [he] felt the first time.” His first thought, “I can’t believe it’s happening again.”
When he looked down, he saw “a few little legs come from around the rim.”
After the first incident, Jordan had become incredibly wary of using the portable toilets at his work. This time, however, the toilets had just been cleaned, so he figured it would be safer and spider-free.
“Had a look under both seats and then I sat down and did my business,” Jordan recounted. “Next thing you know, I’m bent over in pain.”
The first time this had happened, his coworkers immediately took him to the hospital and expressed immense concern. This time, they were simply amused that the same event had happened all over again – as they helped Jordan make his way to the hospital.
Thankfully, Jordan was able to leave the hospital quite quickly and plans on returning to work soon.
When it comes to the toilets though, Jordan doesn’t think he’ll be using them anytime soon. “I think I’ll be holding on for dear life to be honest.”
We can’t blame him.
