Caley Reece is a gym co-owner, Muay Thai champion, CrossFit enthusiast, and a mother-to-be in just one week's time.
Reece's pregnancy hasn't done anything to change or slow her workout sessions, which, as can be seen by her Facebook and Instagram profiles, are incredibly intense.
Over the past nine months, Reece has continued to document her workout sessions online for her fans to see, as per usual. But more recently, many people have criticized her for not taking better care of her body and her unborn child.
Reece didn't let this phase her at all. She responded to some of these comments with yet another video, saying simply that she doesn't "have an excuse not to [train]."
She continued, "It takes a reason, not an excuse and if I dont [sic] have a reason, then thats [sic] not good enough for me. With the movements I have left, I feel completely fine and everything is done with rest time."
When the comments became sharper and accused her of putting her child directly in harm's way by engaging in such dangerous exercises, Reece responded mockingly.
"People ragging out on previous videos saying I’m going to fall over, trip on my belly, get punched accidentally, [it’s] too much on the belly etc...um...so what if I get punched in the face–my baby isn’t growing in my head!!" she wrote on Facebook.
Since this woman is a six-time world champion of Muay Thai, we trust that she knows exactly what she's getting herself into when she decides to continue these workouts.
All our best goes out to this incredible, inspiring mother-to-be!
