By far, one of the hardest parts of dieting would have to be giving up those sweet desserts, right?

No more donuts, soda, candy, or sweets from your local bakery. In order to live a healthy lifestyle, you need to make sure that you're eating whole, unprocessed foods full of nutrients and avoid empty calories.

That doesn't mean that you can't make yourself a sweet treat that's also healthy, though!

If you want something that's not only sweet, but full of healthy fats, antioxidants, and protein, these Chocolate Banana Smoothie pops are absolutely essential!

All you'll need: milk (or almond milk for fewer calories), yogurt, cocoa powder, peanut butter, and bananas. Sounds easy, right? All you need to do is blend the ingredients together, pour the mixture into a cup with a few mini chocolate chips, add a dash of extra chocolate chips on top, insert two sturdy straws, freeze, and you're done!

It simply can't get any easier than this!

How is this a fat-basting dessert? Easy! The cocoa powder is full of antioxidants that are liked with reducing the stress hormone cortisol, which is linked to weight gain around the mid-section. Whole dairy products (like whole milk and yogurt) have been shown to keep you fuller, longer. Not to mention, they've also been shown to help you eat fewer calories during your next meal. Bananas are filled with good-for-you potassium, and peanut butter is loaded with protein (just be sure to get the organic stuff!).
