The family of a young mother left severely brain damaged by her botched breast implants is asking the public for help with her exorbitant medical costs.

Linda Perez was just 18 when she went to the Coral Gables Cosmetic Center in Miami, Florida, in August 2013 for breast implants.

The breast augmentation itself cost $2,800, but the price for Perez’s health was much higher than anybody could have predicted.

According to The Daily Mail, just a few minutes after the surgery, Perez’s heart rate and blood pressure dropped dramatically, forcing medics to take her to the hospital unconscious.

The lack of oxygen to Perez’s brain left the young mom comatose for several months before she finally woke up with severe brain damage.

It was later discovered that the doctor who administered Perez’s anesthesia was a convicted felon who had previously had his medical license suspended.

According to attorney Mark Eiglarsh, the family barely received any money in damages because the clinic and doctor involved in the tragic case had little to no insurance coverage.

Now 21 years old, Perez can no longer eat, use the bathroom, or even get dressed on her own and she requires constant care.

The young mom’s family has decided to set up a Go Fund Me page in hopes of raising enough money to cover her medical costs, which have been estimated to be millions of dollars.
