A young woman in India was horrified and disgusted after a man sitting next to her in traffic allegedly threw his own semen at her.
Mehak Sabat, who works as a manager at a media company in Mumbai, was reportedly on her way to work on Monday when she got stuck at a signal.
It was right there, while sitting in traffic, that Sabat suddenly felt something wet and sticky hit her leg.
“I was horrified to find semen sticking to my skin and my immediate reaction was to wipe it off,” she told BuzzFeed of the initial shock.
At first Sabat assumed somebody was playing a prank on her by throwing water, but she soon realized that she was very, very wrong.
“In the past I have had men peer into the auto and throw water so I thought something similar had happened this time too,” she said.
By the time Sabat figured out what the stranger had actually tossed at her, traffic had already started moving again, and she could no longer spot the disgusting driver.
As soon as the incident was over, Sabat took to Twitter to warn other women in the area about the semen-throwing driver.
“What kind of a sick man throws his semen at women?! I don't know if I am more angry or repulsed. Some of you men never fail to disappoint!” she vented.
Although many women were quick to respond in support of Sabat on Twitter, many others—mainly men—actually thought she deserved it.
One man, who goes by bagadia44 on Twitter, went out of his way to tell Sabat that she shouldn’t be “surprised” about what happened to her, since she dyed her hair blue.
“Because colouring my hair is a bigger crime than a man flinging his semen at me,” she responded.
